One product record.Every channel, every time.
GetShopSync is a product information management system for businesses whose catalogue comes from many suppliers. It holds one authoritative record per SKU, governs who may change it, scores whether it is complete, and publishes it to your storefront — with a full history of every change.

The category
A product information management system, built for supplier-sourced catalogues.
A PIM is the place your product information lives before it goes anywhere else. One record per SKU, structured the way your business needs it, with the rules about who may change what and a record of who did. Your storefront, your price list and your quotations all read from it, so they cannot disagree with each other.
Most PIM systems assume the data already exists somewhere in your business, waiting to be organised. For a distributor it usually does not — it is on your suppliers’ websites, in their PDFs, or in nobody’s head but one person’s. GetShopSync is a full PIM that also solves that first problem.
One record per SKU
A structured product record — titles, descriptions, specifications, images, documents — that every channel reads from.
A catalogue that fits your business
Custom fields you define, typed and scoped. A category tree you control. Brands, batches and suppliers modelled properly.
Completeness you can measure
Rules per catalogue and category. Every product scored, with the missing fields named. Data quality becomes a number.
Governance and audit
Five permission levels assigned per catalogue. Every edit keeps the previous version, attributed to whoever made it.
Assets you own
Images and datasheets pulled into your own storage and served through permanent links, not hotlinked from a supplier.
Publishing
Approved records push to Shopify, both directions, with the sync status visible per product.
The real cost
Nobody budgets for this. Everybody pays for it.
Onboarding a supplier’s range means opening their website, copying a description, saving an image, finding the datasheet, and typing it all somewhere useful. Then doing it again. A single SKU takes twenty to forty minutes to do properly.
It is invisible work. It never appears on a project plan, it is never finished, and the person who knows how to do it is the person you cannot afford to lose.
25 min

What it does
Paste a supplier URL. Get a product.
Point GetShopSync at a supplier’s product page. It reads the page — rendering it in a real browser when the site needs it — and extracts the title, short and long descriptions, specifications, images and datasheets into a structured product record.
The files come to your own storage, so your catalogue stops depending on a supplier link that will break. The product lands as a draft for someone to check. Nothing goes live until a person says so.

The workflow
Four steps. The same four every time.
01
Point
Paste one supplier URL, or upload a CSV of SKUs and URLs as a batch.
02
Capture
GetShopSync picks the right extraction method for that site and pulls the data.
03
Check
Completeness rules score every product and name the missing fields. A person approves.
04
Publish
Approved products sync to Shopify. Every change is recorded.

Data quality
“Our product data is a mess” is not a number.
Set the rules that matter to your business — every product needs an image, a datasheet, a long description, and whatever custom fields your category demands. GetShopSync scores every product against those rules and tells you exactly which fields are missing, per product, per brand, per catalogue.
You stop guessing where the gaps are. The work becomes a list instead of a feeling.
Shopify
The data reaches the storefront without anyone retyping it.
Approved products push to Shopify — titles, descriptions, images and datasheet links. You can sync one product or a whole batch, set a product back to draft, and pull products that exist in Shopify but not yet in GetShopSync.
Datasheets are served from your own storage through permanent links, so a supplier reorganising their website does not break your product pages.
Control
Three things people ask before they trust software with their catalogue.
Who can do what
Five permission levels, assigned per catalogue. A shop user can look. A shop manager can edit and publish. An account owner runs the account. Nobody has more access than their job needs.
What changed, and who changed it
Every edit saves the previous version of the record. The full history of any product is one click away, with the name of the person who made each change.
Your AI key, your model bill
AI capture uses the Claude API key you provide. GetShopSync does not resell tokens. Product limits on your plan set how many SKUs you can hold; extra capacity is sold in packs of 500 products.
Built here
Priced in rand. Built in South Africa.
Every other product information system you will look at bills in dollars or euros. That means your software cost moves with the exchange rate, your support arrives overnight, and your POPIA questions get answered by a form.
GetShopSync is built by Smart Station in South Africa. You are invoiced in rand by a South African company, you speak to people in your own working day, and the supplier sites already configured are the ones your business actually buys from.
The catalogue is not going to write itself.
Thirty minutes, against your own supplier list. We will capture a few of your real products live so you can judge the output rather than the pitch.
